A Day at the Ballpark

Take me out to the ballgame.....

So we had a friend from college who invited myself and some other guy friends to attend a UT baseball game. Here are some pictures. Noah had a great time and he said his favorite part was the "baseball game" so I hope he means that the purity of the sport was his favorite. Even though UT has replaced the purity of the astroturf at DF with field turf. Oh side note they are also replacing the football field with field turf for next year as well.
Say goodbye to natural grass.

Noah waiting for everybody to go up to the suite.

Noah and me giving the Hook'em Horns. It was a double header so we didn't get to sing the Eye's of Texas after the game was over, but we did sing Texas Fight, which Noah calls "The fight, fight, fight, fight fight song".

Travis & Brooke - Brooke wasn't too interested in the game, but she enjoyed playing inside with her dad and Noah for over half the game

Noah & Tyler Hampton enjoying the new vintage seats of Disch-Faulk field.

We had a lot of fun and Brooke was asleep by the time we got out to the interstate. Noah stayed awake the rest of the day. When he laid down that night I think he was asleep in 2 minutes without the usual story, drink, which room are you going in fan fair.

Confessions of a 3yr old

Its been a while since I've posted on here, but Noah just told me something that melted my heart as a dad. We were eating popcorn tonight while reading our story (special treat since Megan had a Bible study down stairs).

Anyway he looks up at me and says, "Dad you're my best friend, did you know that?" with the sweetest look on his face.

Then his little brain was trying to form something really deep and he told me, "I really miss you on Christmas time and on Saturdays". Which is really odd because I'm around all those times. Maybe he meant he misses Xmas and likes spending time with me on Saturday's. Who knows but his mind and the Lord.
